Merdeka!

Hei everyone!
Wanted to wisha happy 50th merdeka day for all malaysians both home and abroad; keep doing your country proud. Of course, just a quick update on moir, i'm NOT in the pink of health at the moment, down with conjunctivitis for the past 1 week also. Had to go and see the eye doctor twice and still it hasn't settled yet. In fact, if there is no improvement tomorrow, i probably have to go and see them again. To make things worse, down with fever as well since yesterday. I feel bad for my colleagues who are covering my shifts in the Emergency Department past week or so; guys, YOU'RE THE MOST DEDICATED PROFFESSIONALS i've had the pleasure of working with, thanks and keep up the good work.
As for the family, alhamdulillah they're fine. My wife's preparing for her 3rd year Family Medicine Masters Finals in 2 months' time, Nawal is Standard 2 and a handful... and the two boys, almost 3 y.o Farhan and 16m.o Umar, are as cute as ever and getting naughtier with each passing second. But i do thank god for giving me the beautiful family that i have now..

Late late post for the year

Again apologies for the lateness of my latest blog. Been very busy; working 24/7 at Emergency Dept at Hospital Serdang. Not much of a life although last month, we did manage to go to Gem Island just off Pulau Kapas, Trengganu. Nice 3 nights, 4 days stay although was a bit expensive (5 star chalet). But it was worth every single sen; the water was clear, scuba diving with the fishes was excellent and the kids clearly enjoyed playing and swimming on the clean beaches.
Nawal is Standard 2 (already!!), Farhan is chirpy and cheeky as ever while Umar is still to0 lazy to walk (he'll be a year old in 5 days!).

Selamat berpuasa

Hi everyone. Another couple of months have whizzed past by and boy does time fly or what! The kids are growing up so fast. eg. Nawal started fasting for the first time and so far tak tinggal lagi! The odd thing is she tends to eat more@ sahur rather than buka puasa. Farhan is growing cheekier (and more stubborn) everyday. And Umar is turning out to be like his brother, physically that is, and people may think that they're twins when they grow up! (Just have a look at the following pics taken at around 5months old and try telling who is who! )
As for work, I'm heading back to A&E (Emergency) this October. Looks like they're short of "old hands" and i've been re-drafted. Not the nicest place to be at the moment, short of MOs, increasing patient workload; let's say it'll be a huge change compared to Forensics.. speaking of which has sparked an interest (in post graduate studies terms that is). Used to think that A&E is for me but the 6 month stint at Forensics has somewhat broaden my horizons... we'll see what happens in A&E.

July 2006 Update

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone.. just a few more pics to get u all updated. Umar's almost 3 months (6.8kgs!), Farhan will be the next Figo and Nawal is the good big sister watching over them.. oh, there's also a new addition to Nomi's family - Amar, anak Ashraf.. Enjoy!

Sorry long time no see the sequel

I know, i know. I've been away for a long time.. busy, as usual. So i'm back.. with more news & pics.
On the family front, alhamdulillah we have a new addition to the family, Umar, who was born on 16th April 2006, weighing 4.1 kg! He's now 5 weeks, while he's brother Farhan is 1 1/2 years plus. Nawal is Standard 1. So that makes it 3 children (so far heh!).
On the career front, am no longer in Emergency Department, Hospital Serdang. Now working in Forensics department of the same hospital, meaning doing lots & lots of post mortem (i.e. cutting up dead people to find cause of death). It' s no walk in the park but at least the working hours is better than the shift work in ED.

Sorry long time no see

Assalamualaikum everyone,
First thing's first, selamat berpuasa to all my muslim friends esp to yang duduk overseas.
Been busy since moving to a new workplace in Hosp Serdang. We're in the final stages of making it operational so a lot of paperwork & meetings to attend to.
Anyway, the good news (for yang tak tau lagi) is that my wife's expecting .. again (i know Farhan just turned 1 y.o this month, but dah rezeki). Here are some latest pics of my family... enjoy! Wassalam.
